Sunlit days France and Australia

My first two photos are especially for you Karen!
She is little Snowball my son's cat
whom I looked after before the
great move across the Tasman Sea to
Australia!
Hard to tell in a photo but she has the
most amazingly silky black coat.
I felt so sorry for her in the heat
when we were there at Christmas.

She has adapted well to living in a foreign land
however, I've heard a rumour she might be coming
back to her real home one day in the future!

Another beautiful cafe at a crossroads in France
bathed in glorious sunshine!
What could be nicer than enjoying a cup of tea/coffee
surrounded by roses!

Evening Primrose.

I'm joining Karen for Sunlit Sunday
Bernideen for BTTCG
Judith for Mosaic Monday
and
Stephanie for Roses of Inspiration.

Thank you ladies for hosting your fun parties!

I'm sorry this is a very hurried post
before I leave for work!

Do you remember I told you on Friday
that we were having friends for dinner on Saturday.
Yesterday I was too exhausted to
even spend time on my computer!
I languished between bed and couch
and nibbled little left overs from Saturdays dinner!

Thank you for your visits

Take care
and be kind to one another

à bientôt

Shane

  13. What a pretty cat. Her eyes seem to glow from the black face. The cafe, roses, stone buildings and signposts make a lovely cozy spot to dine. Have a sunny week and I hope you get caught up on your rest. xx Pam

  14. Hallo Shane,

the cat is a real "Black Beauty". We´ve got 4 cats. One, my special red one, is a real cat from Versailles. Mme. Caron, a vet from Versailles, found him and his 3 sisters, lonely in a part of her garden. The mother was killed by a car. He was a lucky one that a vet found him. He came to my friend Annemarie and I took him to Germany. Now I have a "Royal" cat from Versailles, his name is Alvis which ia another name for Louis in German Ludwig.

    Bye for now, Barbara xx

  15. Little Snowball is simply precious! I have a sweet black cat who goes by the name of Ebony and her coat is also silky soft {{smiles}}

It sounds like your dinner with friends was a joy and it's completely understandable that you were exhausted afterwards. Blogging, working, cleaning, and cooking - oh my! How do you do it all, sweet friend?!

Thanks for joining Roses of Inspiration. Love to you!

  18. It does make me smile to think of a black cat named Snowball. Someone must have a sense of humour. You sound a bit excited about the possibility of Snowball (and your son) moving back from Australia!
