Happy Easter
dear friends!
Easter Sunday has been
a beautiful early Autumn day of 26 degrees C here.
As most of you know both our children
are living overseas....
it's at special times like Easter and Christmas
that we miss them the most.
We've just had a long conversation on the phone
with our daughter and granddaughters in France,
before they attend
the Easter service at the Cathedral.
We're hoping by this time next year they will
be with us for Easter in New Zealand!
I can hardly wait!
I hope you all enjoy your day with
Family
and
Friends
I'm joining Karen for her last
for this year
Thank you Karen
I'm also joining Judith for Mosaic Monday
and
Bernideen for her BTTCG party
Thank you both for hosting!
Take care and
be kind to one another
à bientôt
Shane

Beautiful bunnies dear Shane. Like you, we spent time speaking to the overseas children and grandchildren, as we watched them open the Easter parcel we sent. You will love next Easter indeed if they come over to visit. Wonderful news! Hugs, and Easter greetings. xx

ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to hear that you were able to have conversation with your granddaughters in France!
I have two sons, who live away from our house. We meet in New year holidays and spring holidays. I will meet my granddaughter in May coming soon.
Yes, you and I are almost same age, my friend!(*^_^*)!

I know the pang in your heart when your loved ones are far away. Our oldest son lives far from us and you have to depend on Skype to see our grandson grow. A blessed Easter to you and yours.

Hi Shane,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet comment on my blog! I can imagine how difficult it must be on days like this to have your children living abroad. Hope you had a wonderful time nevertheless.
Your decorations look lovely.
Wishing you a Happy week!
There are some lovely images here, Shane! I hope your Easter Sunday was a lovely one. I know only too well the longing for our children when they are far away. We had the pleasure of one little family with us for yesterday's festivities, but we miss the other little family on the prairie.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter...fabulous scenes!
