Ruby Red Radishes

I spent part of last Summer in France
staying at my daughters
and being entertained by my delightful grandies.

As in most families one of our weekly outings
was to visit the local supermarché.

The displays of vegetables were so tempting

I couldn't resist a photo or two!

I'm linking to Ruby Tuesday

Thank you for hosting.

Take care and
be kind to one another

à bientôt

Shane

  1. Loved the colourful bunches of radish, I've just painted some,They are so popular in France, even offered with a dish of butter to have with aperitifs. I bought some at the weekend, and it's amazing how different the taste is at different times of the year, the early ones always seem to be best, nice and mild and on the sweet side . hope you have a good week, and being able to enjoy your lovely summer. I'm sure your roses are blooming beautifully.

  5. Oh Oh Oh how gorgeous they are dear Shane
Your photo makes me want to butter some french bread and dip some ruby red radishes in coarse sea salt as a treat...washed down by a bit of bubbly Oui Oui.
I bet I've already told you that Mr Magpie is taking me to France this spring. A dream come true to spend April in Paris with my sweethe♥rt. So much has surely changed since I was there so many years ago...can't wait to explore.
