The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
and
Prince George

They will touch down in Wellington at 11:45am
that's is in 5 minutes, as I'm writing this post!
Apologies for the picture quality - obviously taken with a long distance lens
Aww Prince George looks very excited
don't you think
for an eight month old baby!
This will be his first 'official'
Royal visit with two public engagements!
Please click above where the photo should be, if you can't see the image!
Sorry I've had a few issues with the images for this post -
oh the joys of a Royal post!
This photo of the young Royal family

announcing their forthcoming tour of
New Zealand and Australia.

How exciting. They are such a beautiful young family.
ReplyDeleteOoh, how exciting and those pictures of Lady Di bring a tear to my eye.
ReplyDeleteTell us all about it!!!
Dearest Shane,
ReplyDeleteWhat a coincidence that both babies went with their Royal family at the age of 8 months to New Zealand!
Lovely video.
Enjoy their visit; from a distance...
Hugs,
Mariette
Will you be out on the streets as they pass by? Looking forward to hearing about it from an insider's point of view. Lovely post.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful!! Hope you get a closer look!!
ReplyDeleteHi and yes it is a bit strange how the royal babies went to New Zealand and Australia! Thanks for sharing the photos of the royals. Wishing you a wonderful week.

How very, very exciting! They look like such an ordinary happy young family, don't they!
ReplyDeleteFun and exciting time for New Zealand...the little prince is a handsome fellow.
ReplyDeleteI remember that first tour of Charles and Diana with William. It doesn't seem as though it was so long ago that he should be traveling with his own sweet baby! Very exciting -- I hope you have a sighting!
ReplyDeleteI have loved seeing pictures of Prince George on the news today. He's such a cutie! I can't wait to see more photos of them all as their trip progresses.
ReplyDeletePrince George is adorable, they are a lovely family. It is exciting, maybe you will see them during their visit. Wonderful post, have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteFor decades I have followed the Royals in news, movies, books and images. WOW, what a good fortune to have gotten these images. Many years ago, I was able to photograph Queen Elizabeth when she visited my county and a very grand horse farm, within 15 miles of my very simple home. It was just one of those had to pinch yourself kind of moments. They are people like us, but oh so much more fascinating. Happy week to you~
ReplyDeletewow, it appears that George favors his father! What excitement!
ReplyDeleteWhat excitement for NZ ! I'd say George favors his father a bit, do people think that? (I think I lost the first comment, sorry if this is a repeat.)
ReplyDeleteVery exciting for you Shane...
ReplyDeleteit is lovely seeing photos of their travels in the news...
such a beautiful young family with their darling little son ♥ spreading smiles wherever they go!

That's exciting to see.. There is something about the Royal that just fascinated us..
ReplyDeleteHope you are able to see the royal family while they are there. Great post. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteI wonder if you will be seeing them?
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! They are so lovely! xo Jen
ReplyDeleteSaw some footage of the landing on the news this AM-that is super exciting for you!! They look so beautiful with their adorable cherub. It sure did look awfully windy though. I'll be anxious to hear more. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI saw the photos of them arriving in NZ but poor Catherine had some serious' wind blowing her dress up' issues. Very revealing but she was holding Prince George and the handrail at the same time so was quite helpless to hold her skirt down. I feel quite badly for her. The photos are published now! You'll see. Will you try to get out to see them in public somewhere? Our daughter's in-laws are in NZ right now on their way home from Australia.
ReplyDeleteHow very exciting. We have seen a few film bits on the news. I think young George looks just like his father as a boy. What a cutie!
ReplyDeleteI can almost feel your excitement in Holland Shane :-) Enjoy the festivities!
ReplyDeleteHappy week ahead!

How exciting, Shane!! I hope you get to glimpse them during their tour. Little George is so adorable... and he manages to look like both his parents, although he does favor his daddy. (I love those images of Pooh...) Wishing you a beautiful week.
ReplyDeleteA lovely post. A Royal visit is very exciting especially when a little one is included. Looking forward to some more pictures as the tour progresses.
