Grandies Cards from France

We received a large parcel of
Christmas presents from
our family in France
including their home made Christmas cards

The first is from Stella
( they call us Mina and Dada)

The one above is from Zoé

This is Jessies (with help from Maman)

and she wrote us this beautiful message!

Our darling daughter made this one

 and this is mine
I attached a ribbon to the top
so they could hang it on their
Christmas tree.

I'm joining Mary of Little Red House for
Mosaic Monday

Hoping you have all had a joyous
Christmas season.

Merci à bientôt
be kind to one another!

Hark the Herald Angels Sing

Wishing you all a very
HAPPY CHRISTMAS.
Christmas day has dawned
in New Zealand.
An advantage of living where I do
is we are one of the first countries
in the world to see the new day...

My 'alternative' Christmas tree hangs on the wall
above the nativity set. Most of the decorations were made by
Marie of Lost Bird Studio last year and I was
lucky to win them in her Giveaway.

It is raining....
I'm happy as my garden is very dry
and will appreciate a good drink!!

...but there will be many disappointed families here
who had planned on having a
Christmas barbecue outdoors in the sunshine.
Maybe the skies will clear later.

The angel at the top of my pine Christmas tree
was a gift last year from Dorthe of Den Lille Lade
thank you again dear Dorthe!

Thank you all, my dear friends
for your friendship
over the past year!

Merci à bientôt
be kind to one another!

Christmas is almost here...

It is Christmas every time you let God love others through you.
Yes, it is Christmas every time you smile
at your brother and offer him your hand.

Mother Teresa

I'm almost ready....
are you?
I've been working for the last two weeks
so I have got a little behind.

I completed my decorating today
my Nativity set has pride of place
on top of the antique cabinet.

The fragrance from the Christmas potpourri
the pine Christmas tree
and candles
are wafting through the house
....mm it smells like
CHRISTMAS!

Please click on the images to bring them to life!

 I'm joining two Mary's today

Mary at Little Red House for
for Mosaic Monday

and

Mary at Boogieboard Cottage for

Thank you both for hosting your lovely parties.
Do pop over and meet everyone
they're bound to put you in the Christmas spirit!

WELCOME

to my new followers - it's lovely to meet you.

I'll be over to see you very soon!
Merci à bientôt
be kind to one another!

The red tree is a Pohutukawa
the New Zealand Christmas tree.
It flowers in December telling us that
Summer has arrived and it's
CHRISTMAS TIME!
They grow all around the coastline.

On the left is a gorgeous Christmas card
made by my french granddaughter last year.

On the right is the Pohutukawa flower.
