my Nativity set has pride of place
on top of the antique cabinet.
The fragrance from the Christmas potpourri

and candles
are wafting through the house

The red tree is a Pohutukawa
the New Zealand Christmas tree.
It flowers in December telling us that
Summer has arrived and it's
CHRISTMAS TIME!
CHRISTMAS TIME!
They grow all around the coastline.
On the left is a gorgeous Christmas card
made by my french granddaughter last year.
On the right is the Pohutukawa flower.
Your grandmother's card is wonderful .. to still be making things at her age is inspiring! And I apparently didn't get to see your wonderful note cards on previous post … Wishing you a blessed Christmas this week!
