Hello dear friends
as many of you already know
I live down under in
New Zealand
where it is now
It is a 5 acre garden in central Auckland
containing a large collection of
plants and shrubs beneath
a canopy of huge old trees.
Camellias, Vireya Rhododendrons, Azaleas,
Roses and perennials which provide
year round interest.
Today I'm joining
Mary for Mosaic Monday
How I wish we were looking at those lovely spring flowers here right now. I really do like fall, but truly hate winter. Knowing that fall leads directly into the dreaded winter makes it not my favourite time of year.
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring! Your flowers are lovely. So many pretty colors, I wish it was spring here instead of fall. Thanks for sharing, have a happy week!
ReplyDeletePretty pink tulips, a distant memory from my garden. I hope you'll share more spring photos from Eden Gardens with us Shane.

Oh, what pretty tulips. Autumn arrived here today with a storm, and these tulips are so fresh and pink they make me long for spring already. But I'll get into fall mode pretty soon. Still, it's so nice to see spring flowers blooming somewhere in the world. Thanks, Shane.
ReplyDeletePink is my favorite color. Your flowers are beautiful.I marked your post tonight as a favorite so I can look at it in the winter. I do so dislike winter.

Ah, tulips, and deep pink! Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteA taste of spring, lovely. Enjoy the week. Jen
ReplyDeleteWe are seeing red leaves here, so your tulips are a joy and a reminder that when winter comes, spring will come after!

ReplyDeleteI love seeing the flowers of our Spring 6 months ago - tulips are such charmers after a long winter. Beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteDearest Shane,
ReplyDeleteThat is another bonus for reading blogs. Far better than any magazine and with such international reading we get the joy of viewing twice springtime!
Enjoy yours.

Your photos are beautiful, such a fresh and lovely pink in the tulips!
Happy Spring, to you!

Those are beautiful tulips, Shane! Such a lovely color. I was just looking at tulip bulbs on Saturday ... here in New England this is the time of year to plant the bulbs so they'll come up in the Spring. Wishing you a lovely week ahead.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful springtime. Love tulips! Just as we are settling in for a loooooong winter here in Wisconsin, you're enjoying spring! New Zealand is where you have perfect weather year 'round, right? At least that's what I hear. :-)
ReplyDeleteDo enjoy a happy and pleasant spring, Shane! And thank you for sharing the beautiful tulips, which I could never tire of seeing.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your beautiful flowers!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. Have a great week.
It was me that left the comment from G.S. I was signed in under the wrong account - think I need a nap. :)
ReplyDeleteI just love springtime and the tulips are swoon worthy. We are enjoying mums and the golden colors of fall.
ReplyDeleteHello Shane
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to see such pretty tulips like those you've shown in your post. Where I now live in the state of Colorado in the US, not many people grow tulips as the deer will eat them like candy, so I missed them this spring. Your photo mosaics are lovely!
Beautiful tulips. here in France, autumn is just beginning.
