Today I'm taking you on another visit
to one of my favorite little shops,
Cosi Fan Tutte.
My previous post is here
For me it's a little trip over
our harbor bridge
to the very
pretty seaside suburb of
Devonport.
I'm usually on the lookout for
gifts for friends - birthdays etc
and yes there is a french influence
you know me!
At Cosi Fan Tutte there is a gift
for every occasion.
I often buy fragrant soaps
lavender, fig and rose
as hostess gifts when
going to friends for dinner.
Carla Coulson's books are available here
she is an amazing photographer
if you don't already know of her
you can visit her blog here
I love her books, they are filled
with magical images and
inspiration.
She has amazing photography workshops
here
Carla is Australian but now lives in
Paris
where she is pursuing her dream.
Just letting you all know
my friend Lorrie of
"Fabric Paper Thread"
is having a beautiful
GIVEAWAY
until 3 May - don't miss it!
Today I'm joining
Claudia for A Favorite Thing
and
Mary for Mosaic Monday
Thank you all for your visits
I appreciate your comments.
À bientôt
and be kind to one another
hugs
Shane ♥
Oh, what a charming shop! I enjoyed the scenery on the drive over the bridge, too. And those chats! So cute with the meow in French.

ReplyDeleteThat looks like a fun little visit. What a pretty town and shop. Pamela
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of Carla's photography - don't have her books but do follow her blog!
ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable shop - love the name too. Of course the 'original' Devonport is near Plymouth, England, just a short run from my hometown in Devon! I bet the settlers of your Devonport came from there! Love the photo of the green hillside and boats - really does remind me of home.
Would have loved to take that shopping trip with you Shane.

Hi Shane,
ReplyDeleteLooks like my kind of shop too, in fact I have visited this shop a while back. Yes, would be lovely to catch up with you and maybe we can meet for coffee one day.
Happy Tuesday
hugs
Carolyn
What a beautiful shop. It's fun to find a little place that seems to have been established with items to fulfill one's dreams.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Shane,
ReplyDeleteLovely lovely post, you must be a bit homesick for your girls...spring has not come here in the Okanagan yet, surprising snowfall covering the vineyards nearly 1/2 way down the mountain side, quite a sight..however sunshine and warmth is on the way!
sending you a bundle of lilacs wrapped in sweet joy! ❤
Thanks for the tip on the give away. I do believe that bridge looks familiar. How fun to venture out to a special shop.
ReplyDeleteLove browsing those kind of shops.
