Christmas came early for me....

Dear friends, I feel so lucky...
I was one of the winners of
Marie's  divine 'French Christmas'
Giveaway!
Every time I've visited her blog
 I've been inspired by
her dreamy creations .

... but when her magical parcel arrived
it was much much more than I imagined.
I couldn't believe how beautifully
everything was presented...
the exquisite angels wings tied on
top of the parcel with ribbon...
this is Marie to a T
the detail is breathtaking.

Also tied to the parcel was such a sweet card
(French inspired - just what I love)
with a lovely message...

The lace detail on the top of the stocking
so beautifully finished with a pearl and rhinestone brooch.

Marie included one of her trademark
soldered embellishments too

it's so delicate

and this sweet wire heart
with a soldered 'Noel' tied with delicate lace

... and these lovely vintage tree decorations
all in silver and white
my favourite colours for Christmas.

Merci Marie
I feel very spoilt!!!

  14. Oh you are right Shane - your Christmas came early! I want to change the fabric of the stockings I bought at Farmers years ago when I lived in NZ. I am thinking of covering them with hessian and adding lace and vintage brooches. I don't have time this year though - too busy selling cake stands and I have my first booking for a wedding to supply cake stands for next year!. I had a big craft fair last weekend and have markets right up to Christmas - plus a custom wreath and crackers to finish for a friend. Remember when you encouraged me to make them to sell? Most people are not willing to pay the price for the work involved though, so they are a one-off order for me and I will stick with the cake stands for now! Have a wonderful Christmas if I don't pop over to say hello again as my next few weeks are going to be hectic!
