Good Fences.....

Fences, walls and gates

I photographed in the

Bourgogne Franche-Comté region

in the heart of France

in the ancient hill town of Vézelay

I was captivated by the soft aged patina

of the stone and bricks

and the beautiful pattern of the iron work

I hope you will be too.

I'm joining Teresa for Good Fences

take care and
be kind to one another

à bientôt

Shane

  5. We are currently putting up a tiny fench with locked gate at our front door porch to keep the solicitors away. We were going to iron but have decided to do a weathered coastal wood.

  14. Seeing these makes me marvel at the degree of artistry it must have taken to create them. How I would love to have seen the creators at work.
