It's Vee's monthly Note Card Party
and today I decided on a french theme
for my cards
On my visit to France last year
my family took me to
Fontainebleau Chateau.
We enjoyed Sunday lunch at a bistro
in Fontainebleau village
and then spent the afternoon
wandering through the palace
and the peaceful gardens.
I've visited several chateaux
so I now know what to expect
however, the sheer opulance
is always awe inspiring.
I hope you enjoy my selection of photos
for a set of four note cards.
Please pop into Vee's blog
to see everyone's cards -
there's always a varied selection
which makes things interesting!
Welcome to my new followers
and thank you all for leaving
your comments.
À bientôt
and be kind to one another
hugs
Shane ♥
The first two photos take the breath away. I can't imagine ever having the opportunity to visit France and its many chateaux so visiting you and seeing these photographs is the next best thing. Print them up, Shane, print'em up!

It's fun to see Fontainbleu. When I was visiting my friend and I tossed a coin between that and Vaux le Vicomte, which was lovely, too, but I would have loved to see both. I love th enotecard challenge -- I think it's a great idea!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from Note Card Wednesday! Europe offers such great photo ideas! Great pictures!!

The chandelier in the third shot is amazing!
ReplyDeleteHello Shane,
ReplyDeleteFrench-themed posts are always a hit with me. Add in a chateau and some opulence and I'm in all the way. Beautiful shots of Fontainebleau. I'd love to visit it someday. Lots of resemblance to Versailles, which is understandable considering its history.
Have a lovely day.
