Embroidery Day at Red Beach

Oops!
I'm running late for Mary's
Mosaic Monday!

These photos were taken a couple of years ago at
Red Beach on the
Whangaparaoa Peninsula
25kms  north of Auckland.

One of my friends in our embroidery group
has a beach house here
and it was the perfect venue
for a day of mid summer stitching.
The photos were taken a couple of years ago!

I'm joining Mary for Mosaic Monday
...hope I'm not too late!

Thank you all for visiting me and
for leaving your kind comments.
WELCOME
to all my new followers too!
I will be having a little Giveaway
in a couple of weeks so
stay tuned!

À bientôt

and be kind to one another

hugs

Shane

  6. Hope you were able to focus on your stitching that day Shane and didn't want to be out wandering along the beach.

  10. "Beautiful" is an inadequate word for this retreat... and what a wonderful way to relax! Needlework, embroidery, the beach, all with a gathering of friends.

  16. What a beautiful place to be stitching! I think I will take some simple embroidery projects with me on this next trip - I want to stitch Queen Anne's Lace sprigs on the corner of some vintage linen serviettes - what do you think?

Ah New Zealand - I must come back! Lovely - and sending love.
