Chilly grey skies call for adding some beauty
inside the house.
So I popped in to my local flower shop
and selected these stocks
they were a little pricey
but as all the well priced daffs and tulips had gone
I decided to spoil myself!
Winter stocks have the most wonderful
perfume too
it is a treat just walking into the living room!
I'm joining Liz for Fresh Cut Friday August
and
Trishie for Floral Friday - Arrangement
Enjoy your weekend everyone
Take care and
be kind to one another.

Lovely arrangement. Your fresh cute flowers are gorgeous! I love the two colors together, so pretty. Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThis must be the most amazing-smelling living room on earth :)
ReplyDeleteDear Shane,
ReplyDeleteYour stocks are so pretty and know how wonderful the fragrance in the house must be,
We have just watched the silver ferns game and they won by one point - wonder did you watch the game? A nail biting time!
Enjoy your weekend
Hugs
Carolyn.
Beautiful flowers. Love the colors. Have a blessed day and wonderful weekend. Madeline
ReplyDeleteI love those flowers, they add so much to arrangements and last a good while too!
ReplyDeleteDeb
They are such gorgeous flowers, and I can just imagine how beautiful your rooms smell.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
PS - When I first saw your title, I thought for a split second it said Fragant Winter SOCKS! :-)
How beautiful, Shane. Flowers make me so happy.
ReplyDeleteYou did a beautiful job of spoiling yourself!
ReplyDeleteI love their scent! The colors are so pretty, too. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteThese are also one of my favourite flowers. Tried to sow and grow them several times in my garden with changing success. The stocks you can buy in the shop are always more beautiful and the scent.........out of another world.....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers - thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying the weekend.
What lovely photos! When I was a little girl we lived somewhere so cold that people grew stocks. I saw some again once on a holiday. They are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love stocks, always so sweet smelling.
ReplyDelete( I am sorry...I read the header of your post as 'fragrant Winter socks...)!
One of my all time favourite flowers Shane & always remind me of my grandmother. I can just about reach into the screen & sniff them :-) Just beautiful x0x
ReplyDeleteFlowers do brighten up a winter-y day!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! Well worth the splurge. It's been a while since I bought stocks but I do remember their beautiful smell
ReplyDeleteHello Shane, Such gorgeous colors; I wish I could enjoy the fragrance! As always, spectacular photos.
ReplyDeleteFresh flowers like these beauties are so worth it!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of your stock and can almost imagine the fragrance. This is one I would like in my garden next year. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteDearest Shane,
ReplyDeleteStock is such a favorite flower and fragrance! Husband Pieter did once grow them inside the greenhouse. It was meant for use during a Procession and it made it almost a heavenly day.
Enjoy yours!
Hugs,
Mariette
