Tea Cups Travel the World.....

My dear friend
Stephanie
of

has hosted another of her world famous
Tea CupExchange
Parties

I was partnered with
Mimi
of

She sent me a beautiful tea cup named
Clementine
embellished with exquisite pink roses
of the vintage kind - my favourites

Also in the package were
a gorgeous heart
and
the prettiest beaded lace collar
both hand made by Mimi.

I just love the sweet card Mimi made
for me as well.

Thank you
Mimi
You have spoiled me with
all these pretty gifts!

I sent my tea cup to

Trisha
of
and
it was my pleasure to find
the right tea cup for her

Stephanie had sent me an email
telling me Trisha's favourite colour was yellow
so when I spotted this bone china tea cup
in a little antique shop
I knew it would be perfect!
It is a Royal Albert cup
named

Primulette!

I hope Trisha loves it too.

I added some other 'tea related' bits and bobs
with a Kiwi flavour
to give her a taste of New Zealand.

Thank you
dear Stephanie for hosting another
of your lovely tea parties.

I know what a huge undertaking it is
and you run it like a professional!

The Art of Friendship

When Stephanie hosted her first Tea Cup Exchange
I wonder if she knew what a huge success it would be
It soon became the topic of blogger chit chat
I read the posts my friends wrote
and I admired their photos
of beautiful tea cups both received and sent.

What prompted me to become part of it
was reading about the friendships formed
by bloggers from all corners of the globe!

I've now been part of the last two exchanges.

This year I sent a tea cup parcel to
Asia
who blogs at

http://underacreativespell.blogspot.com/

where she creates artistic cards

Recently I received an unexpected packet
with the special Royal Mail post mark
(this caused great excitement in our house)
and inside was the most exquisite card
made by Asia to say
thank you
I'm sure you will agree what a talent she is
please pop over to her blog and say hello!

Thank you dear Asia for being so sweet
I treasure your beautiful card,
and for me this is bloggy friendship at it's best!

I'm joining
Judith for Mosaic Monday
and
Stephanie for Roses of Inspiration

Thank you ladies for hosting!

Thank you my dear readers for visiting and
leaving your kind comments
take care and
be kind to one another

Merci à bientôt

Tea Cup Exchange Party!

I love tea cups and all that goes with the
gentle art of tea drinking... so I was delighted when
Stephanie of The Enchanting Rose
told us she was having another Tea Cup Exchange party!

This beautiful cornflower tea cup and saucer
arrived in a parcel from Stephanie - what a lovely surprise!
I didn't know Stephanie was my giving exchange partner
Thank you
dear Stephanie for your beautiful gifts
I was 'over the moon' with everything you sent me!

As you can see there were so many beautiful items

and all hand made by Stephanie!

A lavender sachet, the sweetest fridge magnet,

and a set of pretty greeting cards!

My receiving partner for the swap was

I visited Asia's blog to find out what she liked
and learnt, she loves Shabby Chic
which is what I like too - she was the perfect partner for me!

I sent Asia a vintage tea cup, saucer and plate
I found in my local Hospice shop!
I fell in love with it and felt Asia would like it too!
It was made by Royal Albert and has the lovely name
American Beauty.

I popped a few extras in the parcel including
a rosy tea towel, a fragrant drawer sachet
an embroidered linen tray cloth and a French magazine
called Shabby Chic!

I was in such a hurry to wrap my parcel
and get it to the Post Office....
and I totally forgot to photograph everything
(that's the second time - it happened at the last swap too)!
Merci Asia for sending me copies of your photographs!

Thank you

dear Stephanie for hosting your Tea Cup Exchange Party
it was a huge success and I'm looking forward to
the next one later in the year!
