It's cold and wet here and has been for weeks...
I know we are in the middle of winter
but it does get rather tedious.
So today I'm re-visiting one of my favourite summer walks.
The Cornwall Park restaurant and tea room is a
great meeting place and favourite stop for walkers!!!
Some of the delicious morsels on offer!
I'm joining Mary for Mosaic Monday.
Take care and
be kind to one another
Merci à bientôt
Haven't been there for years. Looks like I will be down in Auckland in the very near future (unfortunately, for a funeral). Will try and get a walk in Cornwall Park as I will be staying in Royal Oak.
ReplyDeleteCornwall Park Restaurant seems a lovely place to have tea. The food looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty flower bed in Cornwall Park! The dainty teatime treats look delicious and very tempting.
ReplyDeleteOh wow those are some amazingly beautiful gardens!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful gardens there! :)
ReplyDeleteStunning gardens, I've enjoyed my visit this morning while having my coffee.
ReplyDeleteA lovely spot I'd be happy to visit. I'm sure with your dreary winter such things are wonderful memories! Stay warm and dry and have a good week!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Have a blessed day. Madeine
ReplyDeleteHi Shane,
ReplyDeleteSo difficult to imagine that it's winter on your part of the world. It's a warm summer day in Holland. I enjoyed your tour of the garden. How lovely it is!
Wishing you a happy week!

Dearest Shane,
ReplyDeleteIn winter time it is the best therapy to look at summer's favorites on photos taken by us! Reliving the moments will carry us through winter.
Hugs,
Mariette
Such a beautiful place - the gardens with all the blue flowers are wonderful! I am partial to blue...The tea offerings look delicious and that beautiful outside balcony with all the umbrella's looks so inviting.
ReplyDeleteAlthough we are in the midst of mid-summer, I know those dark, wet days of winter are on the horizon and I can sympathize. Keep cozy.
A hug xo
Karen
Beautiful gardens - thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI would love having tea here. Just lovely. Is it in Auckland?
ReplyDeleteWell, those summertime photos should have warmed you right up a bit. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful photos Shane - you are doing what I often do ... in the midst of winter when it all seems so drab, I look at photos of gardens when things are in bloom & it always help to lift my spirits. Happy week dear friend :-)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. A lovely place to visit.
ReplyDeleteSometimes a look back is very good just to remind yourself that the sun will return and that flowers will bloom again. Hope that the weather makes an improvement soon, though, I have to say, it's summer and miserably rainy here. Still, the sun is shining and the outlook has improved. I really like what you did with the next to last photo treating the chain as a garland holding up the inserted mosaic. Clever!
ReplyDeleteThey sure grow a variety of colorful flowers! Enjoy your week my friend! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a beautiful place to visit in real life, or virtually on your computer. The sweets look very tempting.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and cozy, dear Shane. Wafting some of our heat down your way.
What a gorgeous place to visit, Shane, and how delicious that tasty tea. Are those strawberries I see, in cute formal wear? Adorable.. xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely flowers and food! Your photos are wonderful!
