Remember on my
Cosi Fan Tutte post
I mentioned to you that I bought
a birthday gift for my
daughter who lives in France.
A 6 piece set of
Mason "Chelsea" pattern
side plates
which will be perfect for her
afternoon tea parties
with her girls!!
And in June I will be there too
to share some of these
precious moments with
my 3 granddaughters!
Such pretty edging detail...
Am I mad carrying these in
my suitcase... 12,000 miles to
France - they are quite heavy???
Would you do this?
Today is one of life's milestone
birthdays for me....
oui une femme d'un certain âge!!!
I am meeting a large group of
my fabulous girlfriends for lunch
at a delightful french cafe!
I'll share photos next time.....
Completed...
Jessie will no longer be
barefoot at her christening!!
You might like to visit my friend Leeann
at Fabulously French here
and watch an amazing Cartier
video clip!
Wishing you all a wonderful week
full of all your heart's desires
xxx
Thank you dear friends for
visiting
and especially those of
you
who leave me a comment - love
you!!
Be kind to one
another
hugs

ReplyDeleteI would gladly sing for you, but I have it on good authority that you REALLY don't want me to!! Suffice to say, a very happy birthday wish is wished for you.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Shane.
ReplyDeleteI think your plates are just gorgeous. I am starting to fall in love with beautiful china! I recently found a vintage Noritake dinner set at a garage sale for just $15. Replacement dinner plates in the same design were selling for $18 each on ebay! It has a most delicate design and would make a lovely setting for a wedding or anniversary dinner. I'm saving it for future family celebrations but I really do need a dresser now to display it on!
Enjoy your lunch and oh the booties are absolutely adorable too!
Wishin you the most wonderful of birthdays, Shane! The china is divine and I say just pack it in your lingerie and it's as good as there!
ReplyDeleteThose little booties are precious and I am following the link...
Can't wait to hear about your trip in June!

As for your china... We've brought back tons of china in our luggage. IF possible always safely packed inside our carry on or else, carefully packed inside soft clothes as a buffer in the suit cases. Wish you best of luck with these nice Mason pieces. We got the Mason Chartreuse china.
Love to you,
Mariette
