Je revien!!!

Bonjour dear friends!!
if any of you are still out there -
however, I won't be at all
surprised
if you've given up on me!

I would love you to stay
for a cup of tea
and a nice chat,
we've got lots to catch up on!

Do you have milk in your tea?
It's just been sooo long
I can't remember!

Let's get started!
Now tell me all your news
and don't miss out
a single detail please...
You've been on my mind
and I've thought about
you such a lot in
the last two months.

I've had the plaster removed -
what a relief that was!
And now I can drive again,
I'm no longer trapped
waiting for one of my dear friends
to call and take me out!

I'm now as free as a bird
it is just the most
wonderful feeling in the world!

This sweet miniature tea set
was my mothers
and she passed it on to me.

She loved beautiful china
and had some lovely
tea and coffee sets
which I'll show you another day.

Next time I'll share
a recipe for one of
my favourite cakes!

Thank you my dear friends for visiting my blog.
I will enjoy catching up with you all
and visiting your blogs  very soon.
Be kind to one another
Shane

  4. Hi Shane, I'm glad to see you posting again and to hear that all is well. I'm still nursing a sprained ankle over here. :/ Sure isn't any fun limping everywhere. That little teaset is the sweetest thing. My Mammaw collected miniature cups and saucers. I wonder who took them when she passed away? Take care of yourself! Best wishes, Tammy

  7. So glad to hear that your plaster came off. My daughter's pins were removed and the plaster came off on the same day. It was only a day procedure and we were booked in early so the most stressful part which is trying to find a parking space at the hospital wasn't even an issue. It was my birthday though and not really where I wanted to be but I was able to go out for dinner with my husband in the evening to a nice restaurant!
I love your tea set, what a treasure that is. I'm sure you are relishing all the preparations for Christmas.
