I made this little
fabric covered notebook
for my friend's birthday.
I always appreciate
a hand made gift
I was very excited to find
the pretty Toile fabric
at our Spotlight store!
I like to imagine this is
a picture of
Marie Antoinette
and her friends
in the royal bateau!!
I slipped the notebook
into a little bag
I made from old
dressmaking pattern
tissue!
Thank you my dear friends for visiting my blog.
I appreciate all your comments and
I really enjoy visiting your blogs too.
Be kind to one another

Lucky friend to be on the receiving end of this! I agree that it's so much nicer to receive something handmade...oddly enough my friends rarely gift me with anything like that because they are afraid it won't measure up to my standards (little do they know that I'd MUCH rather have something they've made, with love, than ANY store-bought gift).
ReplyDeleteShane, this is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOf course handmade gifts are always the best and your fabric covered notebook is beautiful. Happy birthday to your friend. Best wishes, Tammy
