ANOTHER EXPLOSION IN THE MINE......

Late this afternoon we received
the devastating news
of another catastrophic explosion
in the Peak River mine.

This second blast
extinguishes
hope for survivors.

We had all held such hope
for a successful rescue of
the 29 miners trapped below ground.

Tonight
our hearts and prayers
are with their families.

Please remember these
families
in your thoughts and prayers
this evening.

  7. It made me feel sick and numb at the same time, when I saw the headine online.

My thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of the missing miners - words simply are not enough at times like this.

  11. I heard it on the news tonight. This is so so terrible for those men and their families. They will need every support they can get now. I hope they all can count on someone to take care of them now, someone to just be there for them, so important. This is hard...

  12. Hi Shane,

The news was so very sad and we were all praying and hoping that our miners could come out and be back with their families.
This past week, all we have been thinking about is how each one has touched us, seeing the photographs of them all.
My thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends and may they know comfort at this very difficult time.

    Hugs
    Carolyn
