My laptop is in hospital....

Hello everyone!

Just when I recovered from jet lag
and began to feel human again
I decided to sort my photos and do a new post....

Sadly that wasn't to be as
my laptop nearly died...
she's now in the
computer hospital
undergoing tests
and then will be operated on - or not
depending on what the specialist decides...

I'm a total wreck!
For three days I've had no access
to the internet so I haven't been able to visit you!
Has this happened to you
and did you have withdrawal feelings too!

I should hear by tomorrow
what the diagnosis is.

My dear son has lent me his laptop
today just so I could put you all in the picture!

Meantime I'm cleaning my house
(surely you are blinded by the sparkle!)
and trying to find my garden
among the weeds.

I can't wait to share more photos with you
and get into the swing of
blogging life again!

À bientôt

MEMORIES OF 2013 FRANCE TRIP....

It gets harder and harder each time
I say 'au revoir' to my
french family.
I had the most wonderful six weeks
and shared many precious moments...

The girls and I made special cup cakes
on my last day

After a 33 hour trip home
I'm feeling jet-lagged
and naturally a little sad...

so I'm leaving you with a few
images of happier moments!

on her way up the garden -
as you do!

'welcome home'
messages -
that means so much to me!

A Gift to Inspire....

I received this beautiful
birthday gift,
a hand made fabric and lace book
from my very dear blog friend
Suzy
of
Suziqus Threadworks

The beautiful front cover
tells the story about
my love of vintage textiles,
lace, embroidery and flowers

Exquisite details on each page of my book
completely takes my breath away.

Most of you who read my blog
already know Suzy
but those of you who don't
will appreciate a visit to her blog.

Suzy is a textile artist
and a source of inspiration
to all of us who follow her
creative journey.

Thank you dear Suzy
you have given me a gift
I will treasure always.....
and it will be part of my collection
to be handed down to my
granddaughters
in years to come!

Today I'm joining
Mary for Mosaic Monday
Isabelle for Monday Link Party
Claudia for A Favorite Thing
Becky for Blissful Whites Wednesday
Judy for Creative Mondays
Bernideen for Open House Thursdays
