Here is a new collage of the
Black sheep
no one could see on my previous post!......
I've downloaded the Pic Monkey photo editor
but it is taking me a while
to find my way round the program!
I wanted to insert text on the photo.....
I did that however it was in black
which one couldn't see
as the photo is dark!!!
After asking Mr Google nicely
Pic Monkey
obliged with the process
in Steps 1 to 5.
I usually consider myself quite literate
except when it comes to
computer jargon!
I will keep practicing!
Do you have this problem or am I on my own?!
(This was the original photo on the previous post - can you see it now?
please do let me know!)
Take care and
be kind to one another
à bientôt
Shane xx
I can see both collages. I was told I was the black sheep of my family...a few times. :)
ReplyDeleteSiblings can say cruel things.
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful family of your own now and such exciting news too!
xx
Yes, I can. Lovely sheep, too; I wonder what breed they are.
ReplyDeleteI looked on the Cornwall Park website but it only mentions the Perendale & Texel cross.
ReplyDeleteThe lambing ewes are kept in paddocks away from the public until the lambs are about 2 months old, so when I took the photos they had just been brought back! Next time I see the farmer I will ask him and let you know Michelle. Xx
All photos are showing now. Lovely sheep!
ReplyDeleteThank you and lovely to see you here dear B.
DeleteIt’s getting late but I’ll email you in the morning.
Xx
All the photos are there this time. Have never seen black sheep. I stopped using PicMonkey because it stopped being free at some point so now I use BeFunky, mostly just for collages. Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat and so lovely to see you Tammy.
DeleteI tried BeFunky but they directed me strait to the payment section as well!
It seems freebies are a thing of the past - everyone clips the ticket along the way!
Yes, I too can see both collages of the beautiful black sheep.
ReplyDeleteWhen you add writing on Picmonkey a small colour chart appears on the righthand side. Just click onto the writing you have done and then click on to the colour chart to choose whatever colour you wish to use.
Thank you Rosemary!
DeleteMr Google told me a text box would come up but I didn’t see it.
I’ll have another crack at it today!
Xx
Hi Shane,
ReplyDeletethose black sheep are wonderful!
Lovely collages you made!
Wishing you a great weekend,
Love and hugs, Claudia xo
Goodie - I just had to make sure!
DeleteThank you for your visit and you have a lovely weekend too dear Claudia.
Hugs
Shane xx
Those black sheep are so cute! Wonderful photos. Glad you're figuring out the technology. It's always changing, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThank you Lorrie.
DeleteThe first collage I made via BeFunky but obviously there was a problem.
Wishing you a happy weekend!
xx
Nice to meet you, thanks for visiting my blog! Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteThank you Elizabeth and welcome!
DeleteI see the pictures now - thought I was the only one that missed them last time. Must say that I admire you for figuring out how to make a photo collage. It's something I haven't even attempted!
ReplyDeleteThat's good news Mary Anne!
DeleteI'm muddling my way through - the old versions of these photo editing programs were much simpler and I wish they hadn't changed! Nothing lasts forever I guess.
Enjoy your Sunday dear friend.
xx
It's good to see you back, Shane, I hope you will stay ;-)

Yes, I do have computer problems too. I don't have Pic Monkey, but use Lightroom and Photoshop. They give me nightmares sometimes and I have to write down the questions and come back to it later. Tomorrow is my day to come back to some issues. Love, love the black sheep; but especially love having you back here.
ReplyDeleteIt's maddening Marilyn I agree!
DeleteI loved Pixlr photo editing - it did everything I wanted.
C'est la vie.
Thank you for your kind words - it's lovely to be back!
It's lovely to see you back here again Shane :-) I look forward to more of your beautiful photos. I have a photoshop programme on my computer from years ago when my daughter was at Highschool...I would be lost if I had to start learning a new programme!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much dear Raewyn.
DeleteIt is hard trying a new program, however I'm quite determined to master it as best I can!
I'm popping in to see you and your beautiful handwork soon.
Shane xx
Dearest Shane,
ReplyDeleteYou sure are not the only one dealing with computer jargon! Since my latest Apple update my Adobe Photoshop Elements is crashing and causing me to waste so much time... Also on Safari I cannot leave any comments, not even on my own blog a reply.
So we all struggle with it at times.
Love your black sheep photos and they all came through here.
Sending you hugs from a very chaotic home - dusty and dirty because of our bathroom remodeling. Will be glad when all is done!
Pieter is fighting a stubborn bronchitis and that worries me, due to his very weak heart condition...
Mariette
“If it’s working - don’t fix it".........
DeleteThat’s my mottos, but as Madonna sang we live in a ‘material world’ where innovation and money is key!
I’m so sorry to hear about Pieter. There are some very severe flu strains this year. I had the flu injection (important at our age) but I was knocked down by a nasty virus that attacked my immune system early in the year. We were booked on a cruise which we had to cancel.
Take care Marietta and sending love and warm healing sunbeams to you both.
Xxx
Thank you dearest Shane, we both had our flu shot one week prior to our trip to Canada...♥
DeleteI can see them! (No, you are not on your own...the learning curve on anything is getting more challenging for me as time goes on.) I was visiting Mary and she mentioned that you were blogging again so I zipped over and am now caught up. That photo of your parents is so precious...such a good looking couple.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to see your comment pop up Vee!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment on my parents wedding photo - it was an elegant era.
Their photographer lived in a town 60 miles away, on the big day there were slips on the road and cars couldn’t get through. He eventually made it several days later so the wedding party all dressed up in their wedding outfits and the official photographs were taken!! Imagine brides coping with that today!!!!

Lovely sheep pics. They look fine to me. Totally understand about trying the get images and writing perfect on the computer. I use Pixelmator which is not to bad for adding writing like the copyright logo to my artwork. Anyway, I love the sheep, so cute! Good to find your blog and have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Jo and thank you for leaving your comment and mentioning Pixelmator - very important for artists like you to use a copyright mark.
ReplyDeleteYears ago a post popped up from one of my followers and she had copied my photos from one of my posts to use on hers - I was speechless😱!
Obviously my photos are not works of art but in the blogging world, it’s unthinkable to do such things without first obtaining permission and secondly - get your camera and take your own photos!… just saying!
Xx
I love sheep! This is a wonderful collection! Baa! And I don't mean Humbug! Only in the BEST Baa way!
ReplyDeleteYou’re so wonderful Jeanie - I have missed your wonderful sense of humour and Joie de Vivre⚜️xx
ReplyDeleteaahh, look at those sweet lambs. Yes, I can see the font on your picture collage. I still haven't figured out how to do that haha.
ReplyDelete~Sheri
I won’t go into details here about inserting text as it depends on which photo editing program one uses.
ReplyDeleteI have finally worked out how to do it on Pic Monkey..... 🤗
