Oh, County Cork looks so pretty Shane. I feel we have to go there when we go to Ireland. I never imagined there would be colour like that, as my image of Irish cottages has been more to the stone variety. Lovely photos. Love P. xx
ReplyDeleteI can see why you would be drawn to this village. What beautiful, vivid colors!
ReplyDeleteHello Shane, I love the colorful houses. What a pretty place to visit. Ireland is on my list of places to visit. I enjoyed your mosaics and images! Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!

Dearest Shane, what a charming and oh-so-beautiful place! I love seeing such happy colors :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a delightful week, sweet friend. Love to you!
A couple of your photos, especially the bottom right in the first collage, look like the set of Doc Marten!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty - guess the often damp weather is more palatable with gaily painted cottages to look at! We hope to get there next year - County Kerry (Castleisland) at top of the list where Bob's paternal grandparents hailed from - think that's adjoining Co. Cork.
ReplyDeleteHappy week dear Shane.

ReplyDeleteShane, Those cute bright houses are wonderful. I'm glad to have seen them thanks to you. Sylvia D.
ReplyDeleteIreland is just beautiful...I adored it all....painted houses, flowers, hills, green fields and stone walls. A favorite place.
ReplyDeleteIt looks delightful. I have never been to Ireland. Hopefully I will have a trip back to the U.K. at some stage although the older I get the less likely it seems.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
I've wanted to visit County Cork and its beautiful buildings for a very long time. I'm so glad you could "take me there" with your wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteThose houses looked so enchanting with all those different colours. I wonder how they chose which colour to paint their houses.
ReplyDeleteIt is so pretty! I can see why you fell in love! xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love villages with multi colors on their houses. Like an artists palette.

ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words
County Cork looks like a charming place to visit. Love those colorful houses amongst the rolling green hills.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Some day a visit needs to be planned for County Cork!
ReplyDeleteOh this makes me yearn to return to Ireland. I have been twice, both back in the 80's... much too long ago. Can you tell me the name of the colorful village in the first collage, top left? It looks like a charming spot...
ReplyDeleteThank you for the reminders of a beautiful country I was blessed to spend time in during my early 20's (a l-o-n-g time ago!!). I hope you were able to experience the joyful sounds of a musical instrument being played in a remotely located pub, accompanied by hearty singing - just too wonderful to forget.
ReplyDeleteIreland is amazing, so
ReplyDeletebeautiful photos you show.
And nice that we now are friends
on Instagram.

ReplyDeleteWe didn't get to County Cork last year but I love how refreshing the colours of the houses are - I'd fit right in here and mine would be lavender. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Shane.
Those houses simply don't look real!
ReplyDeleteI just love those colorfully painted houses - they would brighten up the landscape in all the rain that I hear falls in Ireland.
ReplyDeleteHow charming, Shane! I love the colorful cottages and beautiful scenery. Both my husband and my Grandfather's came from County Cork. I hope to visit someday! Thanks for sharing these pretty scenes and hope you had a wonderful time. xo Karen
