La Seine

I took these photos in France last year.

On the way to visit the old medieval market town of
Provins
we passed over the river Seine.

Maybe not looking quite as romantic as it does in Paris
it was still the Seine none the less!

  1. I like the vintage style of the house near the bridge--looks like a part of a lovely neighborhood.

  2. As you say, at least it is France and the famous river of romance. Someone has created pretty planters along the railing.

  3. The Seine is an amazing river isn't it! Most of us only see it in Paris so these pics are certainly interesting - thanks for sharing.

I bet Provins was lovely as are all French medieval towns and villages. The French know how to embrace and preserve their history, especially in the countryside.

Thanks for the e-mail Shane - look forward to hearing more when time permits. Don't work too hard!

    Hugs-Mary

  9. When I think of the Seine, I always think of Paris, but now you have me interested in other views of this famous river. Lovely to see the glimpse of the town. France is so picturesque. I hope you are enjoying your days as spring approaches for you.

  16. The top picture is very beautiful and romantic. I went on the boat on the Seine in Paris and yes that was magic. At 6 o'clock the eiffel tower had a light show which made it all super.
