1st September in my neck of the woods
heralds the start of
SPRING
The fruit trees are clothed in glorious blossom
deciduous trees are bursting into leaf
spring bulbs are in bloom
Spring is an awakening
a sign of new life
and new beginnings
After the grey and dreary months of Winter
we welcome the arrival of this new season!
We have turned the corner...
and I am happy to say
"au revoir August"
until we meet again next year...
God willing!

ReplyDeleteWelcome to your spring! Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteUntil I started blogging I'd never thought about us having opposite seasons. Although we are heading in to autumn, a favourite, I can't help but be excited by your spring daffodils.
ReplyDeleteSpring has sprung.
ReplyDeleteI saw my first shockingly red maple leaf this past weekend, so seeing your daffs gives me an extra bolt of cheer! Happy weekend!

I love daffodils - wish they lasted longer. Pretty mosaic !!

We're heading into fall here and the trees are already starting to turn colours. The leaves are so beautiful, but it means the dreaded winter isn't far behind. I'm always sad to see fall come. I'll just have to console myself with repeated visits to your daffodils!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Here in Virginia we are at the end of summer, most of our flowers are orange.
ReplyDeleteDear Shane,

ReplyDeleteYes, daffodils light up the land and welcome Spring in a lovely way. . . .it always amazes me that we are totally turned around with the seasons, but does make life more interesting and definitely allows us each to showcase and share our flowers at different times!
ReplyDeleteWhat would life be without flowers….and music!
