My cousin came for dinner this week
and brought me this beautiful
Summer bouquet
from her garden.
I know we all love to receive flowers
and these are some of my favourites
roses
dahlias
asters
and hydrangeas
My garden is looking rather sparse
as we have had long hot dry spells
with water restrictions
and weeks of punishing winds
which plays havoc on my garden.
and quickly became the focus on my
coffee table.
I hope this post will add a
little ray of sunshine to your day!
I'm sharing this post at these blog parties

Thank you for visiting

It is truly a gorgeous bouquet, and your photos, though beautiful, I feel probably don't do them justice. It was a ray of sun and it is snowing again in northern Indiana USA.

ReplyDeleteYour cousin must be Susie Quaife and her wonderful gardens.
ReplyDeleteI remember being so impressed with the hydrangeas that just seemed to be growing wild along the sides of the roads when we were in New Zealand. That started my love for hydrangeas and I have since planted some.
