I took these photos in France in a village during the

it was a very lively performance from the
local marching girls!

To see more photos visit Donna here
if you've got some photos with movement
why don't you join in too!

Thank you Donna for hosting!

Wishing you a happy weekend
thank you for popping in and

Dearest Shane,
Such photos, taken while the subject is in constant motion, are quite a challenge. You captured it well.
Hugs and happy weekend to you.

How colorful and fun! Oh, this brings back memories of practicing with a baton! And check out those go-go style boots. Wonderful subject matter, Shane!

I almost missed your post, but I saw it on my Bloglovin' roll. Don't forget to add a link to it on the photo challenge blog!

This has been a good challenge this month. :)
O, and I was just looking at the photo of your mother. She was a beauty and I LOVE her necklace.

YEAH! These young high steppin', moving girls are lovely, I had no idea French villages did that - it's always seemed so American to me!

I was in my brother's village for the Fête de la Musique one June a few years back - Jasmin was with us and we had such a marvelous time that evening, complete with a terrifying bonfire on the river bank - rather scary when the sparks were flying and the music pounding!

Happy weekend Shane.

The costumes are very colourful and you were able to capture the movement of the girls as I'm sure they were constantly in motion.

Hello Shane, I'm catching up after a very busy family weekend. Your fête photos are great, so full of colour and motion. Twirling batons is a skill I've admired and never mastered.

I hope your week ahead is wonderful.
