I've rarely seen a plain ordinary fence in France!
You can only just see the fence amid the riot of flowers!
I snapped this one in my daughter's back garden
after hanging the washing on the line!
A stone wall with a garden and small fence behind.

How beautiful! What a riot of colourful flowers along your daughter's fence. xx Pam
ReplyDeletegorgeous flowers and so lovely colors !
ReplyDeleteHello Shane
ReplyDeleteFences are a good garden feature to use for vertical growing but I have seldom seen white chain link. It's rather nice, one only sees dark colours here.
I love all the colourful flowers in the second photo.
Thank you for linking to Mosaic Monday.
Hi Shane
ReplyDeleteI've really enjoyed these last two posts of fences in France not to mention the beautiful roses, lilacs, etc. growing through and on them.
Those shutters also look amazing!
We don't see these here of course
but they are definitely beautiful
Sending hugs,
Suzy
The flowers are all so lush and beautiful! Lovely fences my friend! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteYour daughters fence comes closest to a fence I photographed in France. It is still one of my favorites. Love your photo with the laundry behind the flowers.
ReplyDeleteThe blooms are glorious right now in your corner of the world! A riot of color.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers!
ReplyDeleteDearest Shane,
ReplyDeleteWhat a riot of flowers indeed! That makes you so happy and I can put my nose in the freshly air dried laundry and enjoy!
Lovely photos.
Wishing you a wonderful spring week.
Hugs,
Mariette
Hi Shane,
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! And I especially love the shot of the clothes hanging from the line in the backdrop. :)
Have a beautiful week!
Heidi
There is so much beauty in a fence partially hidden with a tangle of flowers. Lovely takes. Hope your week is going well, Shane.
ReplyDeleteDear Shane,
ReplyDeletewonderful garden fences .... I love the one in your daughters garden, with all those beautiful flowers!
Have a wonderful week,
Love and hugs,

Dear Shane, what a bountiful of beautiful flowers in your daughtere garden!!So much feast for the eye , and lovely also with the lilac tones behind the taller fence.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a happy October, dear .
Hugs, Dorthe
Oh my, what a beautiful yard she has. It's like living in a huge bouquet of the most fragrant flowers. Super!
ReplyDeleteWhile the flowers and fences are beautiful, it is the clothesline for which I long. . .sad to live in a US suburb where such simple acts are frowned upon. . .what I would give for a clothesline! The 'selling point' for me with the house we almost-bought in Greece was the long, lovely clothesline that bordered the garden. . .sigh. . .
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful flowers along these fences. Very colorful. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteHello lovely lady! Your flowers have brightened my day with their beauty - thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs to you!
The flowers are lovely, so many pretty colors.. Lovely images.

ReplyDeleteI love seeing all the pretty flowers peeking out from the nearly invisible fences. The wash hanging on the line is very charming, too. xo Karen
ReplyDeleteDear Shane,
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing the pretty colourful flowers alongside the fences.
When we were in France I used to love peering through the fences and gates and seeing the beautiful homes and gardens.
Hope you are enjoying the week
hugs
Carolyn
Beautiful whit all the flowers, it is a luck that they can be seen through the fence. Lovely!

Love seeing the wash hanging on the line--peeking out from among the colorful flowers. Beautiful images, of a place that holds a big place in your heart.
ReplyDeletewonderful spill of blossoms! thanks for sharing with good fences!
ReplyDeleteYour fence peeking out so shyly is just the way the your beautiful flowers like it, I'm thinking :) Loved the "be kind to each other" reminder.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the second photo.
ReplyDeleteBonjour Shane! Oh how I love when you take me back to France...and isn't it true -not just about fences- but about how most things there are just a bit more ornate?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Now that's a way to use fencing.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful mixed garden! Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteLove the vibrant colors in your photos.

ReplyDeleteHi Shane, thanks for your comment! The potato pickle was prepared by one of the society members and with her permission I am happy to share the recipe. In fact even a blog post featuring the pickle could be a wonderful idea. Have a lovely Sunday! Bx
