One thing to think of if you get a camera that takes separate lens is that at some time you decide to once again upgrade you will want to stick with the same brand as you can still use the same lens's. I learned that when I upgraded last year. Actually my Canon point and shoot has such a good lens on it I will take only that with my next adventure because it is light to carry in my bag. My big girl camera will stay home. Len's do make a difference for sure.Marilyn Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13115440271615593122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2658769959823060195.post-61550265279320403232016-04-13T10:41:51.711+12:002016-04-13T10:41:51.711+12:00I can envision an old-time western movie being fil...I can envision an old-time western movie being filmed on that street!Magpie's Mumblingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09852241848575954128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2658769959823060195.post-20911963811755609102016-04-13T06:15:26.998+12:002016-04-13T06:15:26.998+12:00The main street of that town looks so quiet and pe...The main street of that town looks so quiet and peaceful to me. I use my phone or my little Canon point and shoot. The Great Dane has a very complicated multi-lens camera and it is just too much work. I am always 'in the moment' and would rather just snap - but I certainly appreciate the beautiful photos I see when people take the time to compose and use the correct lens.Pondsidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02407539138546412482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2658769959823060195.post-9239612072266547392016-04-13T03:18:12.441+12:002016-04-13T03:18:12.441+12:00Dearest Shane,
Well, you certainly can upgrade you...Dearest Shane,
Well, you certainly can upgrade your camera, ANY camera that is. But if it is only for a hobby, to capture a fond moment of our lives... we have to think about it.
The reason I say this is that over the past weeks I've noticed the tremendous improvement of cameras over the decades as I'm scanning our old photos from the 80s.
We always have to keep that in mind. What is the purpose and what do we want to preserve...
Still, those less than perfect old cameras did capture some very special moments that are dear to our hearts because the people in them are no longer with us on earth... Everything eventually will fade out!
Wishing you a happy week and sending you hugs,
MarietteMariette VandenMunckhof-Vedderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16877699174880945452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2658769959823060195.post-32937145669620033752016-04-13T00:27:31.835+12:002016-04-13T00:27:31.835+12:00Even with your point and click camera, your pictur...Even with your point and click camera, your pictures are both interesting and lovely.Starting Over, Accepting Changes - Maybehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06032033918798053005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2658769959823060195.post-28268429628242875012016-04-12T22:33:27.502+12:002016-04-12T22:33:27.502+12:00Hello, I enjoy seeing the old buildigns and landsc...Hello, I enjoy seeing the old buildigns and landscapes. You certainly have an eye for taking interesting shots. Don't rush into buying an upgraded camera, I did this when I started my blog a few years ago, It depends on how you want to use the camera, if it's for quick shots when you're out and about. I'd say keep to a point and shoot but with a higher pixel density. I have gone back to using my Panasonic/Lumix DMC-TZ 4 aim and shoot as I find I take better shots with it, & it's easy to have in my pocket. I am toying with going to an upgrade point and shoot. and leave the other upgraded camera to my husband to fiddle with lenses. I'd love to know what you choose.Barbara Lilian in Francehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05798063785447224950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2658769959823060195.post-47536424125590129462016-04-12T19:37:40.626+12:002016-04-12T19:37:40.626+12:00What a pretty town is Maldon, like many gold rush ...What a pretty town is Maldon, like many gold rush towns.
