The Royals in Blenheim - Day Three

Today our royal visitors
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
travelled to Blenheim
a pretty small town in the
Marlborough wine growing region of
New Zealand.

It seems like the whole town
came out to welcome
William and Kate!

They laid a wreath at the cenotaph
in honour of the
centenary of the beginning of
the First World War in 1914.

As expected they have charmed everyone
lucky enough to meet them!

I'm so glad you're all enjoying my
'Royal' posts - I'll be back again tomorrow!

Take care and be kind to each other
  Merci à bientôt

  3. Loving your royal posts Shane. This is my favourite look on Kate so far this tour. The colour is perfect, and the Alexander McQueen coat is perfection in tailoring, with just the right hint of military influence in keeping with the occasion. Loved the ponytail too!

  4. She has got to be one of the best coiffed women in the world. (Since she has no bad hair days, she even surpasses her beautiful mother-in-law.) How wonderful for you all to have a bit of fun and excitement with the Royal visit. They are indeed charming from all I can see.

  10. As mentioned in my last comment - these are fabulous pics - and the ponytail does it for me, Kate is one amazing gal who never looks bad in anything she wears…….so natural!
Love the pic of them under the umbrella - and William is actually carrying it, the smiles are awesome.

BTW Shane - Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region vineyards are my favorite whites - have several chilling in the 'frig right now!

Love and hugs - thanks for the wonderful pics.

  15. These are wonderful photos, Shane.I'm so glad you're sharing them.
Kate is beautiful and confident as well. I admired Diana but I think she was just so very young and insecure because of many reasons. Kate's her own woman as well as William's wife and it shows in her smile and her bearing. Love the blue coat and her wonderful hair. How great that William is carrying the umbrella.

  17. Lovely photos of William and Kate. I came across your blog yesterday (forget whose blog I was reading at the time).

To start with I thought you lived in France but I have been looking at some of your posts and see you are not far from me - you in Auckland and me in Kamo on the outskirts of Whangarei.

(Unfortunately, Kate and Wills do not come up to Northland).

I see you are also a Francophile - I have always loved France from my first visit on an exchange when in my early teens but it ended up that it is my brother and not me living there - he is in the Dordogne.

  18. Thank you so much for posting these! We've seen a few pictures on the news here, but not the lovely ones you have. Kate is such a beautiful lady and I think that extends both inside and out. And the wee prince is absolutely adorable!
