The Royals are coming!

The excitement here has been building for weeks!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
and
Prince George
are en route to New Zealand!
The above image from NZ Press
shows them boarding a
Royal New Zealand Air Force jet.

They will touch down in Wellington at 11:45am
that's is in 5 minutes, as I'm writing this post!

Apologies for the picture quality - obviously taken with a long distance lens

Aww Prince George looks very excited
don't you think
for an eight month old baby!
This will be his first 'official'
Royal visit with two public engagements!

Please click above where the photo should be, if you can't see the image!
Sorry I've had a few issues with the images for this post -
oh the joys of a Royal post!

This photo of the young Royal family
was released last week
announcing their forthcoming tour of
New Zealand and Australia.

toy the Buzzy Bee!

I'll keep you updated over the week of any
Royal happenings!

Wishing you all an enjoyable weekend
doing whatever makes you happy!

Take care and be kind to each other
   merci à bientôt

Shane

Dearest Shane,
What a coincidence that both babies went with their Royal family at the age of 8 months to New Zealand!
Lovely video.
Enjoy their visit; from a distance...
Hugs,
Mariette

I remember that first tour of Charles and Diana with William. It doesn't seem as though it was so long ago that he should be traveling with his own sweet baby! Very exciting -- I hope you have a sighting!

I have loved seeing pictures of Prince George on the news today. He's such a cutie! I can't wait to see more photos of them all as their trip progresses.

For decades I have followed the Royals in news, movies, books and images. WOW, what a good fortune to have gotten these images. Many years ago, I was able to photograph Queen Elizabeth when she visited my county and a very grand horse farm, within 15 miles of my very simple home. It was just one of those had to pinch yourself kind of moments. They are people like us, but oh so much more fascinating. Happy week to you~

wow, it appears that George favors his father! What excitement!

What excitement for NZ ! I'd say George favors his father a bit, do people think that? (I think I lost the first comment, sorry if this is a repeat.)

Saw some footage of the landing on the news this AM-that is super exciting for you!! They look so beautiful with their adorable cherub. It sure did look awfully windy though. I'll be anxious to hear more. Have a great week.

I saw the photos of them arriving in NZ but poor Catherine had some serious' wind blowing her dress up' issues. Very revealing but she was holding Prince George and the handrail at the same time so was quite helpless to hold her skirt down. I feel quite badly for her. The photos are published now! You'll see. Will you try to get out to see them in public somewhere? Our daughter's in-laws are in NZ right now on their way home from Australia.

How very exciting. We have seen a few film bits on the news. I think young George looks just like his father as a boy. What a cutie!

How exciting, Shane!! I hope you get to glimpse them during their tour. Little George is so adorable... and he manages to look like both his parents, although he does favor his daddy. (I love those images of Pooh...) Wishing you a beautiful week.
