Fences in France

I'm joining Mary's party
her prompt this week is "fence"
and
Friday's Fences

I enjoy photographing fences,
doors, gates and windows.
This collection was
taken when I was in France
last year.

These last two photos were taken
in a beautiful park
in a small town in
Burgundy.

There was a little farmyard
section for the children,
so beautifully laid out.

I love donkeys but they
always make me feel sad....

Only one more day of work this
week - thank goodness!!!
Can you tell I'm not used to it?!
I'm saving for my next trip
to France to see my little
granddaughters!

À bientôt

be kind to one another

hugs

Shane

  2. I know the work thing must be a bit of a strain, but if it means you can make that long trip back to France to see the girlies it will be so worth it! We are hoping to return to France next year too - Paris of course, also Normandy and Brittany where we've not been yet (strange when I think I lived for all those post-war years directly across the Channel - family just didn't have money for travel in the 50's!) then down to the south to visit the family.

Love fences and what they often do - "good fences make good neighbors" as they say!

Happy day from sunny, and warming up at last, North Carolina.

    Hugs - Mary

  3. A lovely collage of different types of fence. I particularly like rustic, wood one. I'm sure you are looking forward to the holidays. Have enjoyable time dreaming of the time you will be holidaying in France and seeing your little granddaughters. x

  4. I'm looking forward to the time I am retired so I can sign up for some of these prompts -- I think they stretch you to either create new work or explore your past to find the best to share. These are lovely!

  6. I always take photos of doors whenever we travel. We have one more work day and then it is the weekend and a friend will be visiting from Lebanon so it will be a busy one. I need to get back to cleaning. Donkeys always look so sad but they are one of the smartest creatures -- don't know why they get such a bad rap. Have a great day. Best wishes, Tammy
